EP 05 | 24 Hours on the Helford / Oaken & Friends

THE HELFORD PASSAGE  |  CORNWALL, UK

The Helford Passage, a winding sliver of magic in South Cornwall, winding its way from Gweek into the blue waters of the Atlantic. A magical place to awake for sunrise, a favoured haunt of ours.

We were fortunate enough to spend twenty-four hours on a traditional wooden boat last month with our friend and creator Ellie from Oaken. Oaken is a bricks and mortar shop based in Falmouth, selling a curation of handmade and sustainably produced clothing and objects, weaving together the stories and traditions of textiles and the values of the sailing community.

They say with every drop of water you drink, and every breath of air you take, you're connected to the sea; and this is never truer than when above it in a hand-crafted, wooden vessel.

Enjoy the short film we've made; we hope it brings you closer to the sea too.
